SITCA Productions was established by Martin Amada who is a multi-lingual filmmaker and collaborating services provider. Originally from the New York City area, he moved to France in 1990, and then to Thailand in 1995. He has lived in several of the Kingdom's southern provinces including Phuket for three years. He spent two years living in Ranong on the Burma border, working in the Myiek Archipelago. After a year and half in Phnom Penh Cambodia in 2008/2009, he returned to Koh Samui, his home since 1998. Martin studied screenwriting at the American Film Institute's Center for Advanced Film Studies in Los Angeles, California in 1981/1982. Prior to that as a young actor he appeared in many stage productions, and later on French television and in the feature film "Tomorrow never dies." He has produced, written, directed, shot, edited, and narrated in several languages, numerous instructional, documentary and promotional videos. He is the co-founder of Southern Thailand's internationally respected Thai cooking school, the Samui Institute of Thai Culinary Arts. |
